  just a heads up that the english version with the changed cover is now up on jw.com.. i haven’t yet read it but if any you have the time i’m looking forward to people’s insights.. in the meantime i must find a red 🍷.

  We hear it all the time. Any questioning can blow open the door to developing " critical thinking" skills. The Borg cant have that.

  This is all a legal ploy in attempt for the Borg to look like a gentler religion.

  As they attempt to appeal the Norwegian ruling next February.

  Disfellowshipped or removal from the congregation has the same outcome on the person that is shunning.

  Turfing the disfellowshipping name makes it appear the Borg is attempting to be less punitive & kinder. Same results though.

  So a JW can date an unbelieving person...

  but the entire congregation is not to be informed or mark the person.

  the only repercussions are that the individual who is aware of it can decide to "mark" them and not go to the local club or bar with the individual, but they are still obligated to go door to door in the ministry with them, and even speak to them at the kn as if nothing is wrong and not feel obligated to tell anyone else?

  this is crazy.. so they are also basically saying that a person can carry on a romantic (but none sexual) relationship with an unbeliever and still go out in service and participate in meetings?

  "Disfellowshipped" was probably only was removed for "legal reasons"" of course,,as usual.

  But,, those who are "removed from the congregations" are treated the same way as disassociated. With the same result of full on shunning to ensue.

  But yeah,,"disfellowshipping" was removed for legal reasons. In light of the Norway developments & because of legal ramifications,,,as always.

  This is one aspect the Borg employs so efficiently.

  They hold loved ones and family captive,, so the ones who feel like leaving,,held hostage.. They cant leave.

  But,,with all the pimos out there,,the Borg has to be careful what they say & do.

  The Borgs aim or ulterior motive is to shift blame from themselves putting any kind of "punitive" action on the victims,,,,,ur I mean followers.

  To make it look like the $heeples did it to themselves,,,left on their own accord and its a result of their actions. Rather than other way around.

  Of course with the same result. Ostracizing.

  eg) what happened in Bulgaria in the 1990s with the blood policy as an example. As someone was talking about recently somewhere. To make it look like someone disassociated on their own doing. By accepting a blood transfusion.

  Possibly the biggest one of the 3 most damaging policies of the Borg. Which can never go away!!!

  Up there with the blood doctrine & shunning policy.
